Get Into the Writing Flow with Lisa Papademetriou

Lisa Papademetriou
Like art, writing aims to express, inspire, and educate. It holds power to touch and even save people’s lives. However, pouring your heart out through your writing can prove quite challenging.
As a prolific writer myself with three books published by O’Reilly and hundreds of articles published over a variety of media sites, I’ve had my fair share of the dreaded writer’s block. With a new edition of The Art of SEO coming out next year, along with a companion workbook, and a spiritual book in the works called Living in a Friendly Universe, I was highly motivated to break through procrastination in my own writing. Thus, I invited today’s guest, writing expert Lisa Papademetriou.
Lisa is the founder of Bookflow, a powerful tool that helps writers stay organized and motivated as they power through long-form projects. She has authored over 20 novels, was an editor at HarperCollins and Disney Press, and was a former MFA level writing instructor. Lisa is passionate about storytelling’s ability to empower readers and writers and knows what it takes to get to The End.
In this episode, we talk about the many easily applicable ways for writers to stay in flow throughout their writing process. Lisa also went above and beyond, sharing some of her most instructive personal experiences throughout her writing career. She believes that the more you write, the more connected you are with your spirit.
So without further ado, on with the show!
